I'm not sure the album version is power chords. I think they are just single notes with some significant distortion / reverb. They both sound fine though

do a mute like this: e|-----------------------| B|-----------------------| G|-----------------------| D|-7-7-5-7-x-5-7-7-5-7-10| A|-7-7-5-7-x-5-7-7-5-7-10| E|-5-5-3-5-x-3-5-5-3-5-8-| and it will be perfect
