Not saying the standard tab is wrong.
This feels more right to me, as I can do slides that are otherwise not possible over 2 seperate strings.
This also simplifies it, at least to me. In a way where I can focus on the subtle changes.
Also for the outro to work easy.
 
Youl will pick up on the song's rhyth, very quickly. Listen closely for subtle changes, occassional high notes
thrown in.
This is a nice song to allow for some improv so long as you stick relatively close to the existing pattern.

The way I like to play this is a little more "active".
Maybe you wanna throw this in some later verses to be progressive.

There are times when you may want to progress to the next note by applying what would be a normal note,
but on the higher D. Then drop to the next progression.
These subtle changes will allow variants and progression at any rate you want.
