FYI - I play this song in Open D, and most #9 chords in this song as Add9 chords, where I raise the root
to the 2nd (in place of the high 9th), so the root is not actually played, just implied. I find the #9
too dissonant. I'll occasionally use it as a fill note instead. YMMV.
