SONG: LOVE THE INE YOU'RE WITH
ARTIST: THE ISLEY BROTHERS
TAB BY: DON CZARSKI
EMAIL: GUITARZAN7@HOTMAIL.COM
NOTE: This song version (original by Stephen Stills) although
similar in ways to the original is played on the guitar
a little differently especially in the verses because
in the verses they sing a line and then the guitar plays
a quick little riff. Then when they go to the chorus the
guitar plays in earnest until that is done and then goes
back to playing the quick little riff. If you listen to
the song carefully you will understand what I am talking
about. Listen closely for the timing and rhythm.
VERSE is played this way and part of the CHORUS as well:
A E/B A E
E --0----x----0----0--
B --5----9----2----0--
G --6----9----2----1--
D --7----9----2----2--
A --0----0----0----2--
E --x----0----0----0--

I personally like to add a 9th fret on the high e string when playing the a in the verse riff.
