I think Keef plays this in Open G tuning. Use the same fingering as above but keep the G string droning thoughout. Its easier and sounds like the record.

Thank you for posting.One of the Stones best . As an FYI: It is my understanding that Keef did not play on this song - he has stated that he was pretty out of it by then . Mick has also confirmed that KR wasn't there either as has Mick Taylor who said that he took loose guitar recording that KR made and created Moonlight Mile. I believe both Micks played the guitars - Wyman on bass. BTW :KR didn't play on Sway either - it was the Micks and Wyman again although I think KR provided background vocals
