Subject: Re: REQ: Husker Du: Books about UFOs

this is the easiest song in the whole world, otherwise I wouldn't
have been able to figure it out :) I am so delighted to finally
be of help to someone else when I have gotten so much help from
this group.

husker du, _books about UFOs_:

D G (4x)
///     /

D
Walking down the sunny street to the library

G D A D G D
Checking out the latest books about outer space

D
Going to the fruit stand to buy a dozen oranges

G D A D G D
Then she and the books and the oranges all go back to her place

D A G D G D
She tells the same old story to everybody that she knows

D A G D G D
She's just sitting in her room reading books about UFOs

<same for all verses and choruses, nothing else to the song
as I recall. enjoy!>

Clearly wrong. I just entered the chords tab for this song, because this one is completely wrong - you can't play this song with chords that this guy presented.

I used these chords to play this on mandolin, it worked out pretty well. Fun stuff. But it's not actually correct. It's in C. verse C F E D C (walk the bass on the d string 3-2-0) chorus G D C
