MOTORHEAD - IRON FIST Bass Tab (Real Version)

Such a great song and no one is capable to work it out properly. I’m a big Motorhead fan
actually own this 7” Tour edition in red Vinyl. It’s a Classic, but the fact is there
no easy way to play this awesome song as Lemmy is a bass master and plays chords no
what song he plays (with perhaps the exception of Iron Horse). This is the closest and
you’ll get to the real thing without having to play chords.

Happy Playing!

Intro (6 Bars Instrumental)
G|----------------------|
D|---------3---555------|
A|-5555555---3----------|
E|----------------------|
Changes immediately over to the verse

Verse (2 Bars Vocals come in here)
G|----------------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------3---555-----------------------------|
A|-55555555555555555555---3---------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------|

Just like the Intro except slightly longer on A5

Chorus (Goes entirely in time to the vocals)

G|-------------------------------------|
D|-555-333-777-555---------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|
You know me Evil Eye You know me Prepare to Die

G|-------------------------------------|
D|-555-333----33-----------------------|
A|--------------22-555-----------------|
E|-------------------------------------|
You know me snakebite kiss Devils grip the Iron fist

Make sure you pause before you play D3 again and it will go completely in time with the lyrics

The A5 at the end of the chorus is the beginning of the next verse and continues just as
verse would although the third Verse with the guitar solo only plays A5 continuously
the guitar solo/chorus where it resumes as normal.
