Ok... so this is September by Daughtry.
i've tried playing the other tablature for this song and frankly, it needed

work. Im sure my version isn't perfect, but it sounds pretty frikin close...

Tuning: the tuning kinda confused me so i'll try to explain it the best i can....

Tune the 6th fret of your Low E string to your second string (A string).....

Verse:
--------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------3---3----
----3----3------3-3-3-3---3-3-3---3-3-------
---5-5--5-5---5------5---5-------5---5------
--------------------------------------------
--4----2----0-----------2-------0-----------

Chorus:
G D
Of all the things i still remember
                           Em
Summers never looked the same.
                           Cadd9
Years go by and time just seems to fly
                        G
But the memories remain.
                     D
In the middle of September
                          Em
We still play out in the rain.
                          Cadd9
Nothing to lose but everything to gain.
D Cadd9
Reflecting now on how things could've been
                        Em
It was worth it in the end.

Bridge:
G D
And we knew we had to leave this town
                                Em
But we never knew when and we never knew how.
G D
Yeah we knew we had to leave this town
                                Em
But we never knew when and we never knew how.
                Cadd9
We never knew how.

Ur thinking of drop d. When drop tuning is needed, place your finger on the seventh fret of the sixth string. Then tune it down to sound like the fifth string. This is drop d. To tune it back to standard u place ur finger on the fifth fret of the sixth fret and tune back up to sound like the fifth string. Bam. Now u have drops tuning and standard tuning. Your welcome
