It sounds like it should be in open tuning?

In the Off-Broadway recording with Damon Daunno as Orpheus, he is playing a tenor guitar which is a 4-string guitar tuned as C-G-D-A like a tenor banjo or mandolin. If you wanna play this on a 6-string, I recommend open Dm tuning. It sounds closest.
